PHP Developer (Laravel)

We're looking for a PHP Developer to join our team and work on backend development of SaaS products.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of commercial experience with PHP
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Laravel
• Solid experience with MySQL / PostgreSQL — schema design, query optimization
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs
• Practical experience with Git and collaborative development workflows (PR review, branching strategies)
• Upper-Intermediate+ spoken and technical English — you'll be communicating directly with clients (calls, requirement discussions, status updates)
• Understanding of OOP, design patterns, and clean architecture principles
• Experience with unit/integration testing (PHPUnit or similar)

Will be an advantage:

• Experience with Laravel-specific tools: Eloquent ORM, Queues, Events/Listeners, Artisan commands
• Experience with AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda)
• Experience with Docker
• Experience with message queues (Redis, RabbitMQ, SQS)
• Background integrating third-party APIs (payment, email delivery, mapping services)
• Experience with a JS frontend framework (Vue, React) for full-stack tasks
• Experience working on a SaaS or B2B product

Responsibilities:

• Backend development of SaaS products on Laravel: APIs, business logic, integrations
• Design and maintenance of database architecture
• Direct communication with clients: requirement gathering, technical consultations, progress reporting
• Participation in code review and architectural decisions
• Working closely with QA and frontend developers on feature delivery
